Why Davies Caddy?

Premium features for the best golfing experience

Intuitive controls

The controls of our electric trolleys are ergonomically designed and help you handle the trolley in any situation. With the newly installed dedicated distance button you can quickly and precisely set the run-on distance: 10 metres = one press, 20 metres = two presses, 30 metres = three presses. All our electric trolleys are equipped with cruise control. This function works just like in a car. While moving, press the button to stop. Press it again and the trolley automatically sets off at the speed it was travelling before stopping.

Downhill Control – DHC

This function is already standard on all our electric trolleys. It works fully automatically and is adjusted the same way as the trolley speed, using the potentiometer rotary knob.

Mechanical differential

When turning, the outer wheel travels a longer path than the inner one. A mechanical differential takes care of this for you: it lets each wheel turn at its own speed, just like in a car. The trolley corners lightly and smoothly, the wheels do not skid on the grass and you never have to force it into a turn. The SMART trolley is equipped with this system, which makes it truly smart in its price category.

100% brake

When the trolley stops, the electromagnetic brake engages automatically and holds the trolley even on a very steep slope.

Electric reverse

To activate motorised reverse, hold the large LED button. After about 2 seconds the trolley starts reversing at a constant speed for as long as you hold the button. Release the button and the trolley stops immediately; press it again and it moves forward.

Versatility

Adjust the folded size of the trolley to your needs. The trolley folds down to several different sizes, so it fits comfortably into any car boot or smaller storage space. Available on all models except the SMART range.

Service – care and peace of mind

Transporting a bulky trolley to the service centre will no longer be a nightmare. We take care of everything – safe packaging and courier pickup right from your door.

The ultra-light lithium-ion batteries supplied as standard with Davies Caddy trolleys are rated for 36 holes and more on a single full charge depending on the course profile and bag weight (SMART model 27 holes and more).

For a long battery life we recommend:

  • Recharging the battery after every round (never leaving it fully discharged for a long time).
  • Outside the golf season (in winter), keeping the battery charged at roughly 50-70% and storing it in a dry place at room temperature.

Yes. You can rent Davies Caddy SMART trolleys at selected golf resorts and try them before you buy, right on the course - getting real experience of their performance and comfort.

It depends on the model. TITAN and PREMIUM S have a freewheel function, so even without motor drive you can easily push them like a regular push trolley. The other electric models do not have a freewheel - to make sure a flat battery never catches you out on the course, we recommend charging it after every round; one charge lasts 36 holes and more (SMART 27 and more).

The trolleys are built for normal use on the course, including rain and wet grass. The trolleys are rated IP44, so the electronics are protected against splashing water; however, we do not recommend submerging the trolley or cleaning it with pressurised water. After playing in the wet, simply wipe it dry.
